          I attended the NINASKY/MISSBEHAVED MAG/FILA event this Thursday at the FILA Flagship store in NYC. It was dope. The girls unveiled their “melrose” collabo with Fila. The placed was jammed packed with “handpicked” people..lol Lucky for my they happen to be good friends of mine. I usually don’t like these stiff industry networking events but this was a good one.I got to reconnect with a few people i haven’t seen in a bit. They performed and definitely rocked!!!!

    My good friend Lboogs had posted up a funny Guinness commercial on his blog (lboogs.tv)Good shit but it inspired me to search for more funnies. I came across these and was crackkin up by myself at 3am. And no I was not smokin the greens! lol…ENJOY!!

     One of my favorite “jobs” is my WED NITE show on WWW.ALISTRADIO.NET. “ROTTEN APPLE CHICKS” is super freshhhhh!  My girl Dulce and I get to talk all the shit that we want! We talk about everything from sex to cornuts. From time to time we like to invite  some of our cool colleges and get involved in some wrecklessness. RON BROWZ aka “THE ETHER BOY” stopped by to hang out with us. This happened a couple of weeks ago but i just got the bright idea to put it up.(DUH) lol… the good part of the interview where we played “Hat of Forbidden Questions” was lost in outer space. Sorry!!! but we spilled the beans on threesomes, fellatio and fun with food! For more great fun TUNE IN!!!! Every Wed from 8pm-10pm EST.

        I was caught off guard when i ran into this video of my old friend Moses…better know as RETNA! hes one of the most eccentric, universal free minds that I’ve encountered. AMAZINGLY talented! I recall watching him paint for hours and the most random places. From murals, to portraits to good old fashioned LA graffiti…he always caught time in his version of perception. I was lucky to be one of his inspirations for some prints that floated around the city of Los Angeles circa 99….and on my bedroom wall…lol

       I remember us getting food after a club or just wondering the streets. He would come across something that inspired him like a bus stop poster and before you knew it…it was rolled up and ready to be created into a dream. We shared the friendship of an amazing human being who is a graffiti legend in LA and worldwide. (RIP AYER) Coming across his art brought back soo many memories of a bidi smoking, baggy pant wearing,Hip hop breathing, backpack on lock, underground loving…ME.

LOS ANGELES IS SOO BEAUTIFUL…..when you look deep…in more words than one.

Nothing is more fun than rockin with your crew

I know, I know…I’m super late! I hear it over and over. I’M SORRY! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I’m sitting here eating a turkey sandwich…one of many turkey dishes that ill concoct due to the fact I have sooo many leftovers. I don’t need a special day to be thankful for the great things I’ve been blessed with BUT i do enjoy the time and yummy food with my close friends and Fam. I was supposed to write a full entry of the PEPSI BLUE CARPET BASH event I hosted in Houston, but Ill morph it with this one..lol

THE PEPSI BLUE CARPET BASH was insane! It took place at club Venue in Houston and the crowd was dope! The place was rammed and I got to interview madd celebrities like Baby Bash, Pitbull,SlimThug and many more. Def Jam recording artist Karina Pasian stole the show! She was amazing. DJ Brandi Garcia did her thing and the Mixmaster DJ YONNY and LBOOGS shut the entire event down!!!! They even had the bartenders sweating..lol

The end of the night was nuts! I stole some fairy wings for me and Dulce and flew out of the club to the after party….what can i say..were animals!

Im thankful for a wonderful support system of great friends and im giving you some dope flicks!!!

Sooo i still haven’t finished talking about the whole Houston experience! Believe it or not I’m still recovering! I damn near had to go to AA when i returned..lol

On a different note, while “working” in Houston, I had the opportunity to cover “THE ZUNE SHOWCASE”.

This was a bit of a challenge for me because all the featured artist are these big famous latin rock stars that i know little to none about. Believe me, i love rock music all day…but Latin rock and those damn “rockeros” are on a whole other movement. They have cult followings and the fans really rock out mosh pit and all…lol

I had a chance to interview grammy nominee Ximena Sariñana, this cool band from Puerto Rico called CIRCO.

Ximena was sweet! Very soft spoken and gentle in demeanor. Her live performance was super impressive!

Circo was really cool too. They performed and everyone seemed to know all the words to their songs. The crowd loved them. My girl Dulce and I rocked out too. Gibson guitars did their thing decorating the place. Beautiful custom guitars everywhere! Kinetix kicked ass putting together an great event. CIRCO was the best interview. Their definitely on a whole other level. I love it when artists are soo full of personality and dont take themselves too seriously. Even though our styles were completely different..we definitely vibed! The guitar player with the mullet loved me! He kept trying to lick my elbow the whole night!…hey, maybe i have sexy elbows….lol

THE HEINEKEN PERSON OF THE YEAR AFTER PARTY for GLORIA ESTEFAN

        One of the most fabulous parties in Houston had to be The Heineken Person Of The Year After party in honor of the great Gloria Estefan. What an amazing night! The dinner included performances by Patti La Belle, John Legend, Carlos Santana and soo many other. Artists, Fans and industry all gathered to celebrate the honor of such an incredible woman. Gloria is not a product of the whole “latin explosion” scene in the 90′s….she is the explosion! She is what every latina wanted to be. No matter what race, what kind of music your into…EVERYONE loves and respects the achievements and how much she paved the way for latinos. I had the opportunity to interview various celebrities and fans throughout the night. My highlight was the interview and just great conversation i had with Tego Calderon. Such a humble and intense human being and truly a well rounded music lover. I had a great time twirling around the mansion in my BETCH dress..lol

yeeeeehawwww!!! I kept yelling that all during my trip to Houston this week. I was there to cover a number of events for Microsoft ZUNE, XBOX360, Heineken and of course The Latin Grammys. This was my first time in Houston and let me tell you..everything is bigger in Texas..lol From hairdos to the food portions(i must of gained at least 5lbs) but what caught me off guard was the whole southern hospitality! The guys were truly gentlemen and the kids were soo well spoken and had proper etiquette. It was such a nice twist from the constant attitude in the dirty apple. Anyway…lets get down to business….

When Zune and Kinetix get involved with anything, They go ALL OUT! The events were amazing! The majority of events took place at the ZUNE Mansion. A breathtaking mansion built with the works. Floors of great decor, pool tables, walk in bathrooms with fly hot tubs and an outside pool that lights up and turned into a stage at night! Gibson guitars covered the place with these super cool custom guitars that were zodiac inspired. The Xbox Celebrity Challenge was dope! We got to try out this new game called “LIPS” which is the hottest new way to karaoke! Celebs like alexis y Fido, pop singer Paula Deanda, Frankie J, Delaghetto, latin grammy winner FLEX, Bun B (who was such a gentleman BTW), Slim thug to name a few came to go head to head with me, MTV3′s Lboogs, Dulce and The mixmaster dj Yonny! It was soo much fun!

I got my ass whooped because most of them are famous singers..lol but i had a blast!
